As may be clear from the title Valkyrie takes somewhat from Norse mythology, something I've been a fan of for years and was solidified in my mind since the days I played Dark age of Camelot. Valkyrie wont take DIRECTLY from Norse Mythology (NO ONE wants to remake Too human....) it is inspired or dabbles in it slightly.
Whilst I realise I have been somewhat AWOL I apologise :( Severe art block have been hindering my progress somewhat, so I come with the gift of Brynhildr; one of my 4 main Valkyrie characters :3
Now, Brynhildr is a big girl standing at an impressive 6'8'' of muscle, not only because her favourite place in the entire universe is the gym but also because she is partly norn; an impressive race of women who are hunters and foragers, living in an almost tribal state compared to the rest of the universe. But Norns live for the hunt and for their pride, but the destruction of Earth has meant that a lot of humans have been coming and flooding their home planet, Hel. For now that's as far as I'll do on the Norn, I'll hopefully make another post about them at a later date.
Anyhow, back to Brynhildr. Of the group she's the most abrasive and easily angered, her hair trigger is infamous and if you get on the wrong side of her she'll happily show you the power of the Norn. But despite being rude and cocky she recognises how valuable her Valkyrie companions are and she has made deep connections with her team but that stems from her role in her Norn community.
Prior to Valhalla she was a huntress and worked with a team of 5 other women to provide food for her "tribe" which lead her to be tenacious in the hunt but also protective of her allies.
